A world building and climate awareness project. During this speculative project, I formed a country in the Arctic on unowned land that is currently being disputed over by the surrounding countries for its natural resources. Posing as another stakeholder in this geopolitical debate, I claimed the arctic for environmental conservation, to protect it from exploitation, like a national-scale nature reserve. I designed the country's principles, the process an individual goes through to gain membership, and the physical artifacts involved in this process.
